Shane was born & raised in Taylors Falls, MN. He earned his Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine.
Beyond the Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Shane has completed the Acupuncture Sports Medicine Program with Whitfield Reaves, OMD, is a Certified Myofascial Trigger Point Therapist through Myopain Seminars, is Selective Functional Movement Assessment Certified, is trained in the Exstore Assessment & Treatment System, is trained in orthopedic assessment and is trained in Applied Kinesiology.
Shane continues to study under renowned Acupuncturists, Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, and Medical Doctors.
Shane practices many different styles of Acupuncture including Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Acupuncture, Electro-Acupuncture, Auricular Acupuncture, Sports Medicine Acupuncture, Myofascial Trigger Point Acupuncture, Battlefield Acupuncture (& other acupuncture techniques developed by military acupuncture research), Motor Point Acupuncture, Segmental Neuro-Anatomy Acupuncture, Scar Tissue Acupuncture, and various other forms of anatomy based Acupuncture.
These different acupuncture styles are integrated and each treatment is uniquely designed for the patient.
Shane is a Nationally Board Certified Acupuncturist by the NCCAOM and is a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) by the Minnesota Medical Board.
Shane is the founder of Precision Acupuncture where he has performed thousands of Acupuncture treatments. He has been serving the Metro area with acupuncture for 10 years. He has been in the current location for 6 years.
Mr. Berquist lives in the Twin Cities & has many interests but few as important as educating & helping people with awesome Acupuncture care.
Shane has a second location where he practices acupuncture in River Falls, Wisconsin. This second business is called River Ridge Acupuncture.
